BOOKING CONDITIONS AND INFORMATION
Payment
Payment must be received before a booking can be secured. It is possible to pay in advance with credit/debit card, by Paypal or by bank transfer.
Payment does not include accommodation unless otherwise stated.
Accommodation
Paticipants requiring accommodation at Country House Finishing Schools will be sent details once course booking is complete.
Cancellation and transfers
Cancellations received up to 28 days before the class is expected to begin will incur the full fee. If a cancellation is received prior to 28 days before the event, 50% of the fee will be charged. If a cancellation is received within 6 months of the start date 30% of the fee will be charged. If an appropriate substitute participant can be found a transfer of the place can be made at no additional cost. Any transfer of this kind must be done 5 working days prior to the event. If you pay with a discounted rate no refund is possible. Any participant who is more than 30 minutes late for a class without prior notice may not be allowed entry. Any partiicipant who does not show up for their class will be treated as a cancellation and will incur the full fee.
Beatons reserves the right to alter course programmes. Beatons reserves the right to cancel any event, in which case a full or partial refund paid for the course concerned will be made to the participant. All programmes are correct at the time of publication.
Confirmation of booking
A letter of confirmation will be sent within 10 working days of receiving payment. Participants should bring this letter with them on the day of their course.
Age Restriction
No person under 16 years old will be admitted except under the supervision and attendance of a parent or guardian of 16 or over. The parent or guardian retains all responsibility for the well being and care of the under 16 year participant.
Participant Requirements
For security reasons and to maintain the high quality standards of Beatons courses, all participants must complete Beatons registration forms and questionnaires prior to attending a course. A participant will be excluded from the course if forms and questionnaires have not been completed at least 5 working days prior to the start of each course. Participants acting in a distruptive, rude or aggressive manner toward staff or other participants will be excluded from class and will incur the full fee.
Rights
Beatons reserves the right to change the content of its courses at short notice. Beatons reserves the right to change these terms and conditions.
Intellectual Property Policy
As an organisation and through the work it carries out, Beatons provides access to intellectual property to members and clients.Beatons therefore encourages members and clients to fully adhere to the following principles of copyright:  Beatons will always seek to protect its own copyright and other intellectual property rights included in its courses and related materials and publications. Beatons requires on courses promoted and sponsored by itself that tutors will only use materials that are either their own copyright or for which they have obtained the permission of the copyright owners. Some classes may be captured on film or photograph, please make it known to Beatons if you do not wish to be filmed or have your image published.
Course documentation policy
All participants are provided with course notes and handouts to serve as a reference tool for use after the event. They cannot be used for cascade training purposes and/or copied.  All the literature is covered by copyright. Reproduction of the handouts is not allowed without express written permission.
Data protection
Beatons High Society Secrets keeps any personal or financial information you supply for the purpose for which you have provided it. It is not passed to other organizations unless this is made explicit when you supply it. We do not keep any of your financial details, it is dealt with by securely online by the merchant bank carrying out the transaction only.
Beatons may from time to time wish to give you information about other courses, services or products it provides.
